Jimmi Frausto

Jimmi Frausto is very excited to be teaching 2nd Grade ELA-S at Maxwell Elementary. Jimmi was born in Leon Guanajuato Mexico, grew up in Mundelein Illinois and moved to Denver in 2009 to attend the Art Institute of Colorado. He became to first in his family to attend college and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors in Web Design and Minor in Graphic Design. After graduation, he decided to follow his passion of education and attended the University of Denver to join the Denver Teacher Residency program and graduated in summer of 2015 with his Masters in Education.

Jimmi plans to use the training he received from his time at University of Denver to implement a positive and motivating classroom environment for his students to strive and accomplish new things they never thought they could do. He believes that community and parent involvement are the most important aspects for students success.

In his free time, Jimmi likes to play baseball, play with his Corgi Ollie and cat Sadie, swim, ride his bike on the Cherry Creek trail, making pizzas, playing in the worship band and is a passionate jazz musician playing bass.
