Welcome Back Students and Welcome New Students to Maxwell !!!!
I am Mr. Leland the Physical Education Teacher at Maxwell, I will be starting my second year at Maxwell. I look forward to meeting all of you, and having a great 2009-2010 school year. We will be having a lot of fun this year in Physical Education working with a new curriculum called SPARK, and continuing with the Activity Log, Gymnastics Night, P.E. Metrics (video assessment).
As we continue with the P.E. Metrics we have adopted the rubric into our daily routine and will be using it daily to assess our skills and behavior in the gym. Enclosed is an example of a rubric used in gym.
