Shakespeare

To be or not to be... that is the question. 4th and 5th grade students will explore this question as they develop a cognitive understanding of William Shakespeare and his plays.  The focus will be to develop an appreciation for Shakespeare by reading and reenacting parts of the plays.  The students will audition for the Denver Public Schools Annual Shakespeare Festival and participate as accepted in the May event.  Additionally the students will perform their scenes for a student and parent assembly during the regular school day in the spring.
