(English) My name is Teresa Limón and I am happy to be joining Maxwell Elementary. I grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois. I started my second career as a resident teacher in 2012 with the Denver Teacher Residency program at DPS. Through the program, I earned my teaching license and M.A. from the University of Denver while co-teaching kindergarten. I am most passionate about working in the areas of reading intervention and special education in both English and Spanish. I enjoy cooking with my children, traveling with friends, and exploring new hobbies.
