The Collaborative School Committee (CSC) brings together families, staff and community members to create and implement a plan to promote high achievement within a school. The committee meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 3:15 p.m. and is an opportunity for key stakeholders to have a voice in their school. Colorado law requires all schools to have a CSC to increase the amount of accountability and family involvement in our schools. The group works with school leaders to provide feedback on important school decisions. These decisions may include ways to improve academic performance, budgets, and the school’s program. CSC meetings are open to the school community, so we’d love to invite you to join us!
The Maxwell Elementary School Committee (CSC) is comprised of:
Our role as a committee is to provide guidance, strategic support, and recommendations to the principal regarding resources to support the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) and school programs.
Our meetings are planned to be held on the following dates:
September 24th – Intro to CSC
October 22nd
December 3rd
January 6th – CSC Budget Training
January 21st – Budget
February 25th
March 25th
April 22nd
May 27th
We ask that CSC members participate in the meetings and commit to being a member for two years, or one year where it applies.
